NOTICE - Change to Wise County’s FY 2025-2026 budget

NOTICE

    The Wise County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Thursday,  Nov. 13, 2025 at 6:00pm in the School Board Education Center located on Lake Street in Wise for the purpose of receiving public comments on a change to Wise County’s FY 2025-2026 budget in the amount of approximately $1,364,877 which is an amount greater than 1% of the adopted Wise County FY 2025-2026 budget.  Approximately $333,672 for grant funds, $920,000 for coal road projects, $2,735 for fees collected, and $108,470 for insurance recoveries and sale proceeds.
