APPLICATION NUMBER: 1011736

A&G Coal Corporation of 302 South Jefferson St; Roanoke, VA 24011 is applying to the Virginia Division of Mined Land Repurposing for a Renewal of PERMIT No. 1102003/NPDES 0082003, in order to continue the operations at the following location.

Permit 1102003, located approximately 1 mile North of Stonega on Callahan Creek and can be found on the Appalachia, Virginia USGS quadrangle at N 3534905.4695 and E 10236260.0511. Renewal Map is located in Section 21.2 of the application.

The permit has three existing NPDES discharge points, runoff from the site is routed to Outfalls A, B, and C that discharges into Callahan Creek. The discharge locations may be viewed on the SWH Map, which is attached in Section 21.2 of the application.

Any person with a valid legal interest which might be adversely affected by this proposal, or an officer or head of any federal, state or local government agency or authority, may within 30 days of September 12, 2025 submit written comments or objections concerning this application, and may also request, in writing, that the Mined Land Repurposing Program hold an Informal Conference concerning this application.
