ELMER D. ADAMS

Elmer D. Adams, 98, died Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at his residence. He was a US Army veteran having served in Germany during WWII. He attended Walnut Chapel Primitive Baptist Church. He retired from Arcadia Graphics in Kingsport after over 25 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Viva Adkins Adams; his wife, Anna Dingus Adams; a daughter, Diana Adams; two brothers, Cofer Adams and Carroll Adams; and a sister, Jeanette Greear.

He is survived by a grandson, Christopher Adams of Gate City, VA; three sisters, Ada Kiser of Norton, VA, Donna Stacy of Kingsport, TN and Ann Stacy of Lancaster, SC; several nieces and nephews.

The family received friends from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2023, at Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home Funeral. Funeral services followed in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Darrell Bolling officiating. Burial was in the Dingus Family Cemetery in Wise, VA.

The family wishes to thank Caris Hospice, especially Bree and Hannah for their loving care.
