MARY ELIZABETH STALLARD
Mary Elizabeth (Beth) Stallard age 73, passed on to her great homecoming and eternal reward on January 14, 2023 at Holston Valley Medical Center. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and Non-Non. She touched many lives as a teacher at Longs Fork Elementary School. She loved to sing, make jewelry, sew and spend time with her family as often as possible. She was an animal lover and gave a home to most cats she came across and some dogs for the love of her family. She was of the Christian faith and loved to go to church as often as she was able to attend.
Beth was met on the other side by her parents Erdman and Alfa Mullins, her beloved husband Jim Stallard, her daughter Kim and son Keith.
Her legacy is left behind to live on in her five grandsons, Andrew Rose and wife Lynsey of Clintwood, Zack Rose and wife Leah of Coeburn, Va., Jordan Hopkins of Big Stone Gap, Va., Sam Baker of Pearisburg, Va. and Noah Baker of Wise, Va. Six great- grandchildren, Elijah, Nickolas, Isaiah, Gideon, Katie and Grayson, whom were her pride and joy. Her cat Cinnamon and dog Chase. One special friend Mildred Brooks, whom the family thanks tremendously for her dedication and friendship to Beth especially her lastfew months. Three “sisters”, Linda Daniel, Myra Breeding and Charlotte Sutherland andone brother Christopher Raines. Several friends and other family members.
Services will be Friday, January 20th, 7 p.m. at Hamilton Chapel Church with Andrew Rose officiating. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. until time of service. Family and friendsare requested to meet at Hamilton Chapel Saturday, January 21st at 12 p.m. to proceed to Baker Family Cemetery, Baker Ridge for a graveside service at 1 p.m. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
