BRIAN SCOTT MEADE

Brian Scott Meade, 52, of Coeburn, passed away suddenly at his home Friday, November 4. He was born September 3, 1970, in Norton to Harold and Patricia Meade.

Brian loved his son and spending time with his family. He loved being the cook and making the Turkey for thanksgiving dinner. He worked with Verizon for 22 years and currently a Cable Maintenance Technician. When he wasn’t working his passion job was working on old vehicles and restoring them. He truly enjoyed his Pug fur babies.

Brian is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie and Libbie Porter, and Wythe and Frances Meade.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his sons, Evan Scott Meade and Josh Kilgore of Coeburn; daughters, Erika Collins of Wise, and Andrea Kilgore of Coeburn; his mother and father, Patricia and Harold Meade of Coeburn; sister, Denise Jones and husband Kevin of Kingsport, TN; 8 grandchildren and a special nephew Nick Fisher of Kingsport, TN.

Visitation for Brian will be Monday, November 7, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Estes Funeral Home in Coeburn, VA. Funeral services will follow at 7:00pm.

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, at Temple Hill Memorial Park in Castlewood. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home by 12:15pm to proceed to the cemetery.
