Carol Omar Kennedy, 65, loving father, grandfather, and adoring husband to the love of his life, passed away peacefully in the early hours of October 16, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Carol was born in 1957, in Virginia and grew up to become a loving and caring man who always gave his time to others without asking for anything in return. Through the years, Carol loved working on vehicles, flying airplanes, racing cars, and above all else, spending time with his wife, Margaret.

Carol was preceded in death by his parents, Estle and Lydia, as well as his brother, John, and his infant daughter, Desiree.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret, and their children; Matthew and Trish Kennedy, Rachel and Jesse Crossen, Ariel Madden, Eric Kennedy, Judi and Ryan Asbury, JoAnna Kennedy, Justin and Julie Kennedy, Jenny Snead, Jacqui and Fendall Fulton, and Harmony and Christian Witte. Additionally, his brothers, Kim and Randall Kennedy, and his grandchildren; Lilly, Noah, Aiden, Kayden, Colton, Braylon, Desiree, Grayson, Aurora, River, Jackson, Markos, Brianna, and Julia.

Carol never liked being the center of attention and per his wishes, there will be no services, and he will be cremated and returned to his wife. In lieu of flowers or donations, we ask that you take a moment to hug your child, grandchild, friend, or walk in the woods for a moment, an hour, or a day. Time waits for no one.
