Pound food bank moves to new location

The Pound Branch of the Food Bank of Wise County, Inc has moved to its new location at 8033 Main Street in Pound. This is the building across from the Pizza Plus that was once the home of The Feed Bucket.

Beginning Thursday, Aug. 26 clients are asked to line up on the side of the street coming from town toward Kentucky and stop before Austin Hill Road. We ask that you do not pull in front of the building or beside the building. There is a stop sign where you need to line up. You will then be asked to pull in front of the building one car at a time so that you can sign in and load your food. You should stay in your car until your food is ready. We are trying to keep you safe and not interfere with the flow of traffic from Austin Hills.
