Headed to state

J.I. Burton forensics team competed in the VHSL Super Region Tournament held on March 6. Shamiyeh Noel placed 1st in Humorous Interpretation, Noah Elkins placed 2nd in Storytelling, Elora Hutchinson placed 3rd in Serious Dramatic Interpretation. On the strength of these performances these students are state bound and will compete for the VHSL Class 2 State Championship 2021 on Saturday March 27. Congratulations! (Ashley Addison photo)
