Teacher Cadet Elora Hutchinson taught fellow cadets how to make origami butterflies and cranes in her first hands-on instructional lesson at John I. Burton High School. Cadets began observation at Norton Elementary and Middle School and field experience in mid-February. The program is offered to interested Juniors and Seniors, and they receive dual enrollment credit through The University of Lynchburg. Ashley Addison teaches the course. Pictured left to right: Emily Duff, Morgan Fawbush, Eden Greer, Elora Hutchinson. Morgan isn’t in the program but is in another dual enrollment class at the same time and participated in the activity because it was so interesting. (Provided by Ashley Addison).
