Annie Nayace Wallace, 88 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at her residence.

She was born on January 1, 1933 in Banner, VA, to the late Sam and Lottie Dingus Minton. She married the late C.J. Wallace on July 21, 1951.

Annie loved gardening, canning, and much more. Annie was a homemaker. She loved outdoors, camping and fishing were some of her favorite activities. She attended the Freewill Baptist Church.

Annie is preceded in death by her parents Sam and Lottie Dingus Minton; her husband, C.J. Wallace who left her side February 12, 2010 to be with the Lord; three brothers, Aaron David, Bobby and Jimmy Minton and four sisters, Valice Dingus Blevins, Mary Minton Foster, Betty Minton Hodges and Lena Mae Minton.

Annie is survived by two sons, James Earl (Karen) Wallace of Prospect, OH and Ernie Charles (Brenda) Wallace of Marion, OH; one daughter, Terry Sue Wallace (Robbin Starks); one brother, Johnny (Anna) Minton of Huron, OH; three sisters, Maxie (Mallard) Laney, Nancy Jane (R.L.) Crawford and Rita (Jim) Mitchell all of Coeburn.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 9 at the Boyd Funeral Home from 10 – 11 a.m.. The funeral service will follow with Rev. R.L. Crawford officiating. Interment will be at the Grand Prairie Cemetery.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Tiffany, Sherry, Suzette and Susan from Ohio Health Hospice. Special thanks to her (fighting buddy) Dr. Hayes and the entire staff for a wonderful experience.
