EDGAR MCDONALD MATHEISON JR.

Edgar McDonald Matheison Jr., 82 passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020 at his home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Sr and Artie Short Matheison; siblings, Robert Matheison, Rose Lee Jones and infant twin brothers.

Surviving are daughters, Terri Williams of Gate City, Diane Wagner of Wise, Brenda Collins of Wise, Judy Matheison of North Port, FL, and Donna Sturgill and husband Jamie of North Port, FL; grandchildren, Michael Williams and wife Christy, Stephen Williams and wife Wendy, Aaron Williams and wife Ashley, Brandon Williams and wife Diane, Ambryetta Jessee and husband Jeffery, Jason Matheison and wife Brandi, Dakota Collins and wife Jalie, Madison Gardner, Ricky LaFean, and Joshua Collier and wife Angela; thirty great-grandchildren; mother of his children, Wilma Matheison of Norton; brother, Gerald Matheison and wife Wilma of Norton; sisters, Shirley Kilgore and husband Arthur of Wise, Nancy Lemons of Bristol; many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Special thanks to his buddy, Tony Beverly.

At Edgar’s requests there will be no services.
