Families enjoy time celebrating July 4th
"May we think of freedom, not as the right to do as we please, but the opportunity to do what is right." Peter Marshall.
FOURTH OF JULY
The Fourth of July was a beautiful day that brought cookouts, family time, and an all around wonderful day. The weather was beautiful and sunny, and very hot! It was a perfect day to celebrate our country, and to pray for our country's future. Summer has definitely arrived along with its warmer temperatures. It's time to swim for sure!
Sadly, our community has suffered some loss. David Horne went home to be with the Lord on July 2nd, and Lenville Mullins entered his eternal home July 7th. Please remember their families in prayer as they are going through this tough time.
Be sure to pray for all those in our community and the surrounding communities battling COVID 19, and all those who are constantly exposed to the public. There are several members of our community in need of prayer. Let's all pray for those who are sick and battling illness, and their family members who are taking care of them.
Also, please say a special prayer for Lois Bolling, Doug Bolling, Joan Carter, Rocky Cantrell, Larry Kelley and all the requests that remain unspoken.
Our community and our nation most certainly need our prayers. So, lets all remember to pray for our leaders that they do what is best for our country, and to pray for one another that we impact this world for the better.
