COMMUNITY LOSS

In the last couple of weeks our small community has been hit hard with the loss of many friends. The Pound community continues to mourn the loss of a dear friend and previous writer of the Pound Progress, Gayle Kilgore.

We would also like to express deepest sympathy to the families of Todd Adams, Cova Boggs, Emily Bolling, and Brazella Sturgill. Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to all those families.

PRAYER

There are several members of our community that are in need of prayer at this time. Among those that stand in the need of prayer are Darrell Smith, Doug Bolling, and Joan Carter. Also, please be much in prayer for our nation during this medical scare, and for all those affected by the changes to our daily lives.

church services cancelled

The Pound United Methodist church has cancelled services until March 29. Hopefully this will give the caronavirus time to clear out. The members of PUMC look forward to getting back in to its regular routine and worshipping together. Pastor Randy Carter would line to invite everyone to join them back at church on March 29!

REVIVAL

There will be a revival in beginning April 5 at Pyles Memorial Church, with Darrell Migrim and Mike Hunsucker. Services will begin nightly at 7 p.m., and there will be special singing. Pastor Troy Belcher would like to invite everyone to be with them during this revival.
