MICHAEL EDWARD ARWOOD

Michael Edward Arwood, 66 of Dinwiddie, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 in hospice care at Signature Health of Norfolk.

Michael had formerly served in the U.S. Marine Corps earlier in his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening & woodworking. He worked most of his life in construction operating heavy machinery. 

Michael was predeceased by his parents, Matt and Johnnie Mae Arwood and his brother, Larry M. Arwood.

Michael is survived by his siblings, Linda Hubbard of Norton, Bobby Arwood (Betty) of Petersburg and Darryl Arwood of Norton. His children, Matthew Arwood (Pat) of Houston, Texas,  Michael Wray of Colonial Heights, Elizabeth Goble of Petersburg, along with grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
