LOTTIE JOAN (JOANN) JESSEE

Lottie Joan (Joann) Jessee, 87, of Norton, left her earthly home and entered her heavenly home on Monday, November 29, 2021 at her residence.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She attended Hopkins Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 51 years, Sterling E. Jessee; parents, Delmer (Deb) and Sylvania (Cee) Jones Mullins; daughter-in-law, Debbie Jessee and brothers, Jimmy Mullins and J.D. Mullins.

Surviving are her daughter, Rhonda Addison and husband Ronnie; three sons, Sterling David Jessee, Randall Lee Jessee and Darrell Wayne Jessee and wife Jamie; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a special nephew she thought of as a son, James (Jimmy) Jessee; special friends, Phyllis Hunsucker and Brenda Bolling; two special nurses, Doris and Janette and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Joan Jessee was conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 2 at the Sturgill Funeral Home chapel in Wise with Pastor Mike Hunsucker officiating. The family received friends on Thursday, December 2 from 5:00 p.m. until time of services. Graveside committal services and burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 3 in the Hill Family Cemetery in Norton. Family and friends will meet at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home to go to the cemetery in procession.
