DONNA ADDISON

Donna Addison, 84,of Wise, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 in Richmond, Virginia.

She was born in Dunham, KY. Donna was married to Billy P. Addison, and they enjoyed almost 50 years together until he passed in 2007.

Donna was a true pioneer and entrepreneur, starting the first non-attorney and woman-owned Escrow and Title Agency in Richmond, Virginia. Donna was known throughout Richmond for her expertise in residential real estate and tireless work ethic. She ran her companies for over 40 years, and her business was a thriving commercial success.

In her spare time, she was a wonderful cook, often hosting dinner parties for her colleagues and friends, but her family always came first.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her parents, Bill and Lena Webb; and her three brothers, James, Robert and Ronald Webb.

Donna was a devoted wife to Bill and loving mother to Michael and Michelle. She was a doting grandmother to Madison, MacKenzie, Ben and Derek.

Graveside services for Donna Addison will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, May 14, in the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap where she will be buried alongside her husband. Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of graveside services at at the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens. We will be following state mandated social distancing.
