Karen Jean Massey, 62, of Coeburn, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2020 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley Saul and Gladys Nelson; brother, Donald Saul.

She is survived by her husband, Howard "Frank" Massey; daughter Megan Edwards and husband David of Coeburn; grandson, Keven Massey, granddaughter, Kaitlyn Counts; sisters, Joyce Pelletier and husband Joe of Texas, Kelly Heverling and husband Mike of Florida; several nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, and friends.

The family will receive friends from noon to 1 pm on Tuesday, July 7 at Estes Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. with Bro. Robert Ledford officiating. Procession will follow to Greenwood Acres for the committal.

Estes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
