MARTIN BUREN REED JR.

Martin Buren Reed Jr., 96, died Monday, June 15, 2020 at Fairfield Nursing Home in Crownsville, MD.
Martin was a native of Wise County and was born in 1923 to Martin Reed Sr. and Susan Ringley Reed. The last surviving member of his generation, he was a retired tool and die maker. His wife, Carrie Bell Steele Reed preceded him in death in 2006.

His son, Robert L. Reed and his wife Sharon, Glen Burnie, MD survive him, along with his grandsons, George Matthew Reed and his wife, Lindsey and John Philip Reed Sr. and his wife Nicole. His great grandchildren include Noah Dalton Reed, John Philip Reed, Jr., Angela Nicole Reed, Brody Matthew Reed, Nicholas John Reed, Garrett Matthew Reed, and Cooper Matthew Reed.

A graveside funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, at the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens in Big Stone Gap, VA, with the Reverend Jim Collie officiating.
