PUBLIC NOTICE Variance request filed by Carroll and Janice Pannell

Public Notice is hereby given that the Town of Wise Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday June 30, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Wise Municipal Building located at 501 W. Main Street, Wise, VA 24293 for the purpose of soliciting public comment with regard to a variance request filed by Carroll and Janice Pannell for a variance in maximum fence height from 6 ft. to 8 ft. The property in question is located at 118 Beverly Avenue in an R-B Medium Density Residence Zoning District. When the public hearing is opened, any person wishing to speak on the requested variance may be heard. Following public hearing, the Board of Zoning Appeals may or may not take action to approve or deny the requested variance.

The application and current Town of Wise Zoning Ordinance is on file in the office of the Town Planner located in the Wise Municipal Building at 501 W. Main Street, Wise, VA where it may be examined by interested parties during regular office hours.
