ROBERT VIRGIL LAWSON

Robert Virgil Lawson, 75, of Coeburn, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020 at the Heritage Hall Health Care Big Stone Gap.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Edith Salyers Lawson, his wife, Nancy Carol Lawson and an infant sister.

Surviving are his son, Barney Lawson Jr. of Coeburn, three daughters, Elizabeth (Thomas) Owens of Whitmore, S.C., Karen (Tim) Collins of Newberry, S.C. and Martha (Mike) Hill of Wise, a brother, Roy Salyers of Coeburn, six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Private graveside services will be conducted with Rev. R.L. Crawford officiating burial will be in the Greenwood Acres Cemetery Coeburn. The family request NO flowers. Memorial contributions may be made to one’s charity of choice.
